Birkenstock partnered with TGS Elevate to create a visual program to commemorate the achievement of an important internal milestone. The challenge: we only had three weeks to develop, test, and deliver the project soup to nuts.
The drop-dead date was a high-profile open house at their new corporate office, which was currently under construction, with 300 confirmed attendees!
The new store location was still two weeks out from completion when they gave us our 21-day deadline to finish a considerable marketing project. We had seen the artwork, but not the actual store where the history wall and large format art pieces would be displayed. No problem! Our creative team is, well…creative. We worked symbiotically with the Birkenstock marketing pieces to design stunning and practical solution that created the moving experience we had hoped to create.
This project had a lot of emotion in it. When you tell a company’s history to their employees, you need it to be both powerful and respectful. The team at TGS Elevate used thoughtful lighting and composition to make the Birkenstock mission statement into a dramatic moment. We also turned a painting created by a local artist at Birkenstock’s store in Venice, CA into a massive 20-foot wide wall space mural. The vivid colors, size and spacing of the mural were bold and beautiful.
Birkenstock found value on our ability to support their marketing team across a variety of projects and services, and on price and on budget. In the end, we partnered with them through it all, and now operate as an extension of their team - a true symbiotic relationship.
